I really had every intention of posting a cute Easter picture of my baby last Sunday.

But then I got sad because his first holiday couldn’t be spent with family. And then I got mad because people were shamelessly posting pictures of themselves doing the very thing I was upset about. And then I got frustrated because the result of their selfishness is that my kid’s next holiday might be spent the same way.

This new era of social distancing means a lot (two words) of you are working from home. Which probably means you’re doing more typing than talking. Plus social media has taken on a whole new level of popularity.

Even if you’re not working, I bet within the past 24 hours you have composed an email, or posted a status, or captioned a picture, or sent out a text… And that, my friend, is also why YOU should want to become a better writer.

Way back in August I wrote about items that help make living with a disability easier. But, once I posted it, I had a whole bunch of readers confused about why I didn’t include walkers and grab rails and shower seats… all of those essential tools that we use daily.  I realize now I should have been more specific – my post was on non-medical items that can make life easier.
